- Initiated the creation of an Information Technology (IT) department to update and expand the County's Internet technology to provide better service to the community.

- Secured over $50,000 from the State of California to renovate the John Z. Hernandez Park.

- Hired two additional librarians to increase public access at the San Benito County Free Library.

- Introduced resolution creating and establishing the San Benito Arts Commission for San Benito County, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors.

- Approved the development of Lowe's store, a business that should generate over 200 jobs for local citizens.

- Secured funding and resources for resurfacing Buena Vista Road.
|
- Created a County Parks & Recreation Commission to develop sports facilities, open space, parks and recreation facilities and programs to better benefit the community.
