Encouraging more accessible and affordable health care for working families and senior citizens

Fighting the growing gang problem by working with the City of Hollister to identify at-risk youth and provide greater recreational activities to steer young people away from gangs

Incorporating an economic development element in the General Plan for San Benito County to help create the most positive environment for current and new businesses

Increasing citizen participation in local government by bringing government to the community through town hall meetings, a web site, and lunch seminars
